My CFC Foster Cat

One of the first things I noticed about Spunky was his affection and his boldness.  This little guy doesn't hesitate before getting all up in my face!  He walks over with confidence onto my lap, and up on my chest before greeting me with a little pat of the paw on my cheek or a cold, wet nose.  I am not sure he understands that cats can't actually give kisses like people do, as I've received a few "love bites" on my cheek!  But you can't stay mad at this little guy as he always has the best of intentions - sometimes his playful kitten nature just causes him to forget his manners!

Wouldn't you like to wake up to this one?  This little cutie is available for adoption.  Right now I get to see this adorable mug every day, but I know it's only temporary.  He's got lots of love to give and is looking for a furrever family to share it with!

I am fostering this cutie named Spunky.  Spunky has had some illness in his family, so I was trying to weigh him each day to make sure he was gaining weight like a healthy kitten should.  However, you can see by his name that he has a hard time staying in one spot for very long!  So I always have a hard time weighing him.  But the other day, when he was playing, he - inadvertently - turned on the scale by himself (he stepped on the button) and then sat very still on the scale as he eyed his next pouncing victim (toy).  Oh, Spunky, why don't you do that for me all the time?  Oh, by the way, he keeps gaining weight!  Good news :)
